June Crunch Challenge: Pike Crunches


Today we're starting our final circuit of the June Crunch Challenge - pike crunches. These are tough, but they're super-effective! Lie on your back with your legs and arms extended straight out. Use your abs to lift your shoulders and your legs simultaneously, meeting in a pike position. Lower your arms and legs to a couple inches above the ground and then repeat. June Crunch Challenge: Double Crunches


Today we're starting our round of double crunches - these are so effective at working your lower abs and upper abs together. Lie on your back with your knees at a 90 degree angle and your hands behind your ears. Use your abs to lift your shoulders and your butt up simultaneously. Watch this video, then get crunching!

June Crunch Challenge: Toe Tap Crunches


Today we're moving on to toe tap crunches - these work your lower abs and upper abs simultaneously. Lie on your back with your legs up straight and reach your arms up towards your feet. Use your upper abs to crunch up, reaching your fingertips to your toes. Watch this video, then give them a shot!

Today we're starting our circuit of bicycle crunches - these target your upper abs, lower abs, and oblique muscles. Lie on you back with your legs at a 90ยบ angle and your hands behind your ears. Try to bring your elbow to your opposite knee while extending you other leg out straight. Watch this video, then get crunching!

June Crunch Challenge: Reverse Crunches


Today we're moving on to reverse crunches - these really work those lower abs. Lie on you back with your arms by your side, palms up. Lift your legs straight in the air and use those lower ab muscles to lift your butt off the ground. If you don't feel any lift, just keep trying - you'll get there! Watch this video for a demonstration, and then get to work for a toned midsection.
